The heaviest snow we&#8217;ve had so far this year didn&#8217;t even cover the grass completely, so this will be, assuming it lives up to the hype, considerably more than we&#8217;ve see so far. They have backed off from the forecasts of 10 to 15 inches and are now calling for 4 to 7 inches here. Central Pennsylvania and up to New York City are likely to get considerably more than us, with forecasts ranging from 15 to 24 inches. So, here&#8217;s one more picture of spring, before winter returns. It&#8217;s actually quite a bit colder already, but the precipitation should finish off most of the blossoms that have already opened. Hardy plants, like daffodils, will continue to bloom but I have a feeling many cherry trees are done for the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The forecast for tonight is snow.
