It&#8217;s not very needy and it&#8217;s happy in a wide range of conditions. It does best with a very bright, south or west facing window but it can survive with less. This is one of the houseplants that we put outside during the summer, making sure it isn&#8217;t in full sun during the hottest part of the day, which can be a bit too much for it.
