In my knowing memory, however, he only ever used a Leica 35mm Rangefinder camera. When he died, his son, my uncle, inherited the camera and then when he subsequently passed away, his children let me have one of them (so I&#8217;m not sure which one this is). In any case, it&#8217;s a Leica IIIc, which was made from 1940 to 1951 and I&#8217;d guess this was from after the war. It needs a little cleaning but it&#8217;s in basically working condition.
