I&#8217;ve posted a photo of a sharks tooth from that collection in the past. This quartz arrowhead was in the same box. I don&#8217;t know where it was found although my guess would be North Carolina. I don&#8217;t even know for sure that it was found by him, but I assume it was. It&#8217;s a beautiful little thing. I&#8217;ve never really tried my hand at knapping stone but I would guess that quartz is not the easiest material to shape.
