Tulips aren&#8217;t that long lived, but daffodils and some of the smaller, more ephemeral blooms will likely be coming up long after I&#8217;m gone. This is one of my very favorite blooms, <em>Chionodoxa forbesii<\/em>, also known as glory of the snow. I like the fact that it blooms so early but I think my favorite thing about it is the amazing blue color.
