We also enjoyed seeing a great blue heron (<em>Ardea herodias<\/em>) and across the water a flock of wood storks (<em>Mycteria americana<\/em>). It was quite hot today, probably the hottest day of the week and with rain in the morning, it was very humid. It&#8217;s our last day at the beach and we have a longish drive home ahead of us tomorrow.
