As usual we spent most of the day outdoors and it was very nice. We all enjoyed watching the three &#x2018;littles&#x2019; playing together. Dorothy wanted to harvest some persimmons (American Persimmon, <em>Diospyros virginiana<\/em>) so we shook the tree and the fruit rained down on us. It would have been a good idea to lay a tarp on the ground first, but we managed to get most of them.
