Today we drove out to McKee-Beshers for a walk that ended up being about 3&#x200b;1&#x2044;4 miles. I took my camera and long lens with me and got a few photos of northern flickers (<em>Colaptes auratus<\/em>) but otherwise, no birds. I heard a lot and saw a few, but not well enough for photos. We made our way to the C&#038;O Canal and the Potomac River and this is a view across the Potomac with sycamore trees in Virginia.
