The rest, especially the trees on the two sites, was pretty difficult. We did get through it, although, as you can see, there&#8217;s a piece missing, which is always sad. It&#8217;s especially sad in this case because it&#8217;s a photo I took back in August 2004. The glacier has receded some since then but it had also receded then from where it was when we lived there in the 1980s. Of course, that&#8217;s not the catastrophe that some make it out to be. Glaciers come and go and then come again.
