Dorothy was away on a church retreat. Cathy had her second soccer game of the fall season. I ran up to Germantown to the Lancaster County Dutch Market to buy a few things. From there I went out 118 to our friends&#8217; farm outside of Poolesville. On the way I passed Springs Farm and stopped to take a few photographs. I complained here recently that we don&#8217;t live in an absurdly beautiful place, like some of our friends and relations. I don&#8217;t know if this qualifies as absurdly beautiful and it isn&#8217;t exactly on my daily commute, but it&#8217;s pretty nice.
