Brookside Gardens Railroad Display
We went to Brookside Gardens today. In the winter, it’s really good to have places like that where you can get a bit of tropical feel without having to go to the tropics. If you haven’t been there, they have two connected greenhouses or conservatories. The first of the two that you go into has a mostly static display of tropical plants. I say static but of course everything is growing, so it does change from year to year, but in general, the same plants are there, with the exception of a few containers and such. It’s really nice and the sort of things I’ve love to have connected to my house.
The second conservatory has different displays in it throughout the year and this time of year they have the local Garden Railroad Club set up a display. It includes local landmarks, including the conservatories at Brookside Gardens, as seen here.
